Often, but not always. The location ranges from a house among a few neighbours to a home completely alone. Ask for the distance to the nearest shop and neighbours if that matters to you.
Can I get there without a car?
Usually not easily. Many homes in the woods are far from a stop. Ask about the distance to public transport and whether the owner has tips for arriving.
Can I light a fire?
That is up to the owner and depends on local rules. If it is not in the house rules, ask beforehand. Never light a fire without the owner's permission.
Will I see wild animals?
You might, but the owner cannot promise it. In woods you sometimes hear animals at night. Feel free to ask what guests usually see there and what is best avoided.
