Privacy policy

What we keep, why, and for how long. In plain language.

1. What we collect

Only what you enter yourself. For a booking request: your name, email address, phone number, the dates you chose, the number of guests and your message. For a question through the contact page or a sign-up as an owner: your name, email address and your message. We ask for nothing more.

2. What we use it for

To handle your question or request, and nothing else. A booking request goes to the owner of the property, because they are the one who answers. A question through the contact page reaches us.

3. Who we share it with

With the owner of the property you are asking about, and with nobody else. We do not sell data and we do not send you advertising you did not ask for.

4. Cookies and measurement

We set no advertising cookies and sell nothing on. Two things do stay in your browser: what you save to favourites, and your session if you sign in. A visitor counter only runs if you say yes in the bar at the bottom; say no or nothing, and nothing is loaded and nothing is measured.

5. What comes from outside

The map uses imagery from OpenStreetMap and some photographs come from Unsplash. Your browser fetches those directly from them, which shows them your IP address. That is needed to display a map or a photo.

6. How long we keep it

A booking request is kept while it is running and afterwards for our bookkeeping. A question through the contact page is kept until it has been dealt with.

7. Your rights

You may always ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected or have it deleted. One message is enough and we answer within a month.

Who manages the data and under which law will be added here as soon as the company behind Rentiday is established. Until then you can reach us with any question at the address below.
