Privacy policy

Only what you enter yourself. For a booking request: your name, email address, phone number, the dates you chose, the number of guests and your message. For a question through the contact page or a sign-up as an owner: your name, email address and your message. We ask for nothing more.

To handle your question or request, and nothing else. A booking request goes to the owner of the property, because they are the one who answers. A question through the contact page reaches us.

With the owner of the property you are asking about, and with nobody else. We do not sell data and we do not send you advertising you did not ask for.

We set no advertising cookies and sell nothing on. As long as you save nothing and do not log in, there is not even a single cookie in your browser. Three things appear only once you trigger them yourself: what you save to favourites, your session if you log in, and your answer to the bar at the bottom. We also count how often a holiday home page is opened. For that we recognise no one and store nothing in your browser, so no consent is needed. If you say yes to the bar, one item is added that lets us count you at most once that day; it disappears at the end of the day. If you say no or nothing, we store nothing about you. If you click "Continue with Google" when logging in, your browser loads Google's own sign-in window at that moment; it does not happen otherwise. One thing happens without a cookie: on a page with a map your browser fetches the map images from OpenStreetMap, and that address sees your IP address in the process.

The map uses imagery from OpenStreetMap: your browser fetches it directly from them, which shows them your IP address. If you click "Continue with Google" when logging in, your browser talks to Google at that moment. Outside those two cases, nothing comes from outside on its own: every photo on this site is fetched from us, not from anyone else. Below a property there are three share buttons. If you click Facebook or WhatsApp, your browser opens their site with the link in it; without that click nothing is sent to them. "Copy link" stays entirely in your own browser. If a property has a video, you first see a photo of the property with a play button. Only when you click it does your browser load the YouTube player (via youtube-nocookie.com) or the Vimeo player, and that service then sees your IP address.

A booking request is kept while it is running and afterwards for our bookkeeping. A question through the contact page is kept until it has been dealt with.

You may always ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected or have it deleted. One message is enough and we answer within a month.
