About Rentiday
What we do, what we check and what it costs.
How this started
Rentiday did not start as Rentiday. In March 2026 we began with one country and one site: vakantiewoningen-in-belgie.be. The idea was narrow. Anyone letting out their own house hands the big booking sites a percentage of every booking, even for a guest who already knew them. We asked a fixed amount per year and took nothing from what a guest pays.
It worked. In the months that followed, more than two hundred places joined, from owners who do not know each other and stayed for the same reason: whoever books here books with them. No intermediary taking over the guest, no percentage that grows along with the price.
Rentiday is that same machine, opened up. The same database, the same price calculation, the same people checking every place before it goes online. What is added is the rest of Europe: thirteen languages instead of four, and a search that does not stop at a border.
Straight to the owner
You book here with the person who owns the place, not with an intermediary. That means one point of contact for your question beforehand and for whatever comes up on site, and a price the owner set themselves.
It costs you nothing
We charge guests no booking fee and take no commission on your stay. An owner pays 49 euros per year per property, whether they get one booking or twenty. So nobody here has an interest in your stay costing more.
What we check
A place goes online only after a person has checked it. If it is let through a manager or an agency, it does not appear under 'Direct from owner': that label is there only for those who rent out themselves and whose profile we were able to verify.
Where the offer stands today
Today there are 229 places on Rentiday. The site is built to reach beyond one country: it speaks thirteen languages and the search knows no border. What gets added is up to the owners.
