Le Val Fleuri is beautifully tucked away in Vresse-sur-Semois, a small picturesque village in the heart of the Ardennes. You're sat here about an hour and a half from Namur and nearly two hours from Brussels, so ideal for those wanting to escape the city without going too far. The River Semois flows quite close to the house and you can hear the water passing gently. It's proper Ardennes countryside, with dense forests and plenty of greenery as far as the eye can see. The silence here is pleasant, perfect for switching off completely. You've got plenty to explore in the area. The classic walking trails along the Semois are phenomenal, particularly the routes with views over the river bends. Fancy some culture? Then the village of Bouillon isn't far, with its impressive castle perched on the hilltop. For those who enjoy good company: you've got several local restaurants where they serve Ardennes cuisine, and the small villages in the area such as Herbeumont are fun to wander round. River kayaking is also popular, and you can easily find operators nearby. This accommodation is ideal for large groups who want a bit of privacy but also enjoy being together. Ten bedrooms and seven bathrooms, so everyone has space. With 32 beds, you can organise a proper family weekend or invite friends.
