Holiday Farm 't Grenshof, rural accommodation on the French border Holiday Farm 't Grenshof is located in Beveren aan den IJzer, in the peaceful West Flemish countryside, right on the border with France. On one side of the road Belgium, on the other side French Flanders. Ronny and Gerda welcome you to their farm, where you and a group of up to 10 people can completely unwind amongst the fields. No through traffic, no crowds, just sweeping views and the peace of country life. The property has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plenty of room for a family, a group of friends or two families together. Inside there's everything for spending quality time together: a billiard table, a table tennis table and a table football provide entertainment at any time of day, even when the weather outside is less pleasant. Plenty to do outdoors Those coming with children will be in their element here. A large outdoor play area and an agility park are ready for a full day of romping about. There are go-karts, a petanque court and a fishing pond on the grounds. Those who want to experience real farm life can collect eggs from the chickens, go along for a tractor ride or, in season, see the threshing machine at work. For a truly rural outing you can even arrange a horse-drawn covered wagon ride on site. The farm is on the Frontière route, so cyclists can set off straight from the door along mapped routes through the region and across the border. A base with plenty nearby Despite the tranquillity, you're centrally placed here for a varied holiday. The IJzer invites lovely walks, the Belgian coast is a short drive away and you can explore French Flanders just as easily. For a day out with the family, Plopsaland and Bellewaerde are nearby, and on the French side the Nausicaá sea aquarium in Boulogne-sur-Mer awaits, and even a trip to England via the Channel Tunnel. 't Grenshof is the ideal place for those seeking group accommodation with space, activities and genuine fresh air, away from the crowds but close to the best destinations in the region.
