Holiday homes with a hot tub or jacuzzi
A hot tub or jacuzzi is warm water to sit in, even when it is cold outside. How much you get out of it depends on whether it is private or one you share with other guests.

Below you will find homes with a private hot tub or jacuzzi and homes where you share one with other guests. The listing page shows under facilities which of the two it is.
What to look for
- Ask how long the water takes to reach temperature. For an outdoor tub that can be half a day, especially in winter.
- Check the photos to see whether the tub is indoors or outdoors and whether a screen or hedge keeps the neighbours from looking in.
- Ask about the rules around the tub: cover, glass, children and how late in the evening you can use it.
- Bring flip-flops and a bathrobe, and ask whether towels are set aside for the tub. The ordinary bath towels are better kept dry.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a jacuzzi and a hot tub?
Usually a hot tub is outdoors and a jacuzzi indoors, but the words get mixed up. That is why both appear here. The photos of the home show what is really there.
Is the hot tub private or shared?
It is listed under the facilities of the home. A private tub is used by your own party, a shared one with other guests, sometimes on a schedule.
Is use of the hot tub included?
That differs per home. Some owners charge for energy or upkeep. If a cost is listed with the price, you see it there; if nothing is listed, ask in your request.
Can I use the hot tub in winter?
You can, but not every owner keeps it warm all year, because heating an outdoor tub takes a lot of energy. Ask if you are coming outside the summer.
