La Floresta

La Floresta is a peaceful holiday home for up to 6 people in Mouzaive, a sub-municipality of Vresse-sur-Semois, in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes. It stands right on the bank of the Semois, at the end of a dead-end road, on the grounds of a former campsite that has returned completely to nature. You enjoy absolute peace here, with no through traffic, surrounded by forests, birds and the sound of the river. An ideal address for those seeking peace, walkers, mountain bikers, anglers and nature lovers. The house has three bedrooms: a ground-floor bedroom with a 160 cm double bed, a first-floor bedroom with two single beds and a double room with a 180 cm bed and its own washbasin. The bathroom with shower is on the ground floor, with a separate toilet next to it and an extra toilet on the first floor. The spacious living room has a leather sofa set, a reading corner and a wood-burning stove. There is wifi, a TV with DVD player and a cupboard with board games and children's toys. The fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave and a coffee machine, and the garage has a second fridge and a freezer. From the large veranda you look out over the fenced garden and the Semois, so guests with a dog are welcome too. Two canoes are available free of charge, and anglers have direct access to the river. After an active day you come home to a cosy house where you can truly unwind. Walking and mountain bike routes start at the front door, so you hardly need the car. The famous Pont de Claies, a traditional wooden bridge over the Semois, is about 1.5 kilometres on foot. About 3 kilometres away, in Alle-sur-Semois, you will find restaurants, cafés, a supermarket, a baker, a butcher, a pharmacy and the recreation area Recre'Alle with an outdoor pool, playground and sports facilities. Vresse-sur-Semois, Laforêt and Membre are close by as well.
