Former farmhouse from 1839. Private enclosed garden and parking. In the village: marked walking trails, swimming pool, forest We will welcome you with a good roaring fire and a small welcome gift. Our holiday cottage is located in the Bouillon area in the village of Carlsbourg. We hope you will have a pleasant holiday here. Our beautiful region is renowned for its woods, landscapes, rivers (Semois and Lesse) and gastronomy. No surprises, utilities (electricity, heating, water, rubbish) are included, firewood is provided and Wi-Fi is free. 2 bedrooms with washbasin: 1 double bed (160 x 200) and two single beds (cot). Bathroom with bath/shower, washing machine… Lounge: large decorative fire (firewood provided), flat screen TV, DVD/Blu Ray, (free Wi-Fi), board games and books. Fitted kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave…). Private enclosed garden and parking (garden furniture and barbecue). Guests must bring their own bath linen, bed linen including bottom sheets, top sheets and pillowcases (1 bed 160 x 200 and 2 single beds, cot) and tea towels. Possibility of hiring household linen on request (bed sheets €12 per person, beds are made for your arrival - bath linen and tea towels €5 per person). Baby equipment available free of charge: Folding cot, baby bath, potty, changing table, high chair, stair gate, suitable crockery, microwave - (pharmacy 50 m away and medical centre 3 km away). In the village: indoor swimming pool 5 minutes' walk from the cottage, playground 2 minutes and forest 10 minutes' walk from the cottage. Starting point for marked walking and mountain biking trails (maps available) - grocer's, pharmacy, hairdresser… Sports activities: kayaking, swimming (Semois and Lesse), walking and mountain biking (marked trails), horse riding, swimming (pool in the village of Carlsbourg)… Cultural activities: castles: Bouillon and Sedan, Archéoscope de Bouillon, Orval Abbey, Redu, museums (Bouillon, Redu, Rochehaut, Bastogne…), Euro-Space-Center, Dinant (Citadel, the Meuse, the city of Sax), wildlife parks (Bouillon, Rochehaut and Han-sur-Lesse), Han Caves and wildlife park, Bastogne ('War Museum', war museum 1940/1945)… Summer: medieval fairs, markets, flea markets, son et lumière shows, street arts festival, music festivals, Libramont agricultural fair… Other: Redu, new 'Media' museum - forests/typical villages - Fourneau St Michel - Beauraing (pilgrimage town: apparition of the Virgin Mary 1932/1933)… Ideal central location for visiting Belgium (Brussels, Namur, Liège, Dinant…), France (Sedan, Charleville, Reims…), Luxembourg, Germany (Trier, Monschau…).
