Den Dotter

Welcome to our countryside holiday home for 10 people in Aaigem, on the edge of the Flemish Ardennes and close to the Den Dotter nature reserve. An ideal base for walkers, cyclists, mountain bikers and nature lovers who want to get to know our beautiful region. The 55 m² living area includes the kitchen, dining area and sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a five-ring hob, oven, dishwasher and microwave among other things. There are four bedrooms: three with a double bed and one with four single beds. The house has two bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and one with a bath, and bath towels are included. A high chair and a baby cot are available. Outside there is an enclosed garden with lawn and a south-facing terrace with barbecue and garden furniture. The lockable barn has room for your bikes and mountain bikes, and there is a table tennis table. Parking is available for 2 to 3 cars. The house stands in the middle of the fields, in an oasis of green nature. In spring the nature reserve turns completely yellow with flowering marsh marigolds. In autumn Den Dotter shows its finest colours and you might spot a mushroom. The Molenbeek/Ter Erpenbeek runs through the reserve, past the Gotegemmolen with its fish pond and the Engelsmolen. In the morning you hear birds singing and lapwings in acrobatic flight, and at dusk you may see deer. A walk with a nature guide is also possible, for children too.
