Welcome to Liège, Chez Marie, a charming guest house set in a characterful house from the early 20th century. Nestled in a green haven, ten minutes from the centre and a stone's throw from the Citadelle, the house offers that rare luxury of being both in town and in the countryside. On the wooden terrace, you can savour breakfast in the sun from the first fine days, listen to the garden waking up and watch the dragonflies dancing around the pond.

Here, you take your time: read a book chosen from the library, settle into a deckchair at the bottom of the garden, or simply enjoy the calm, so precious just minutes from the bustle of Liège. Marie welcomes you in French, English, Spanish, Russian and Italian, with all the warmth Liège is known for. Attentive to her guests, she happily shares her favourite addresses for experiencing the city differently, and even offers, for those who wish, to start the day gently with a morning yoga session. Breakfast is a special moment: hearty, prepared with organic and artisanal products, fresh bread, homemade jams, honey, cheeses, seasonal fruit and organic juice, served in the garden in summer or in the warmth of the house the rest of the year. Chez Marie is also an ideal starting point: five minutes from the city centre and the station, twenty minutes on foot from the historic heart via the hillside paths, and on the doorstep of the Ardennes, Maastricht and Aachen. An address where you can set down your suitcase, breathe and feel at home for the duration of your stay.
