Twinstone Lodge - Blackstone

The Blackstone module of Twinstone Lodge is a luxury holiday home for groups of up to 16 people, on the Kattevennen estate in Genk, one of the gateways to Hoge Kempen National Park. Blackstone can be combined with Whitestone, so the whole lodge sleeps 28. The two modules can also be rented separately, which suits large groups as well as smaller parties looking for more privacy. Blackstone has six bedrooms, four doubles and two for four people, with four bathrooms in total, one of them accessible for guests with reduced mobility. The house is wheelchair accessible. The large living space leads onto the terrace and has a TV, a meeting screen and a projector. The semi-professional kitchen, with oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher, can handle meals for 28 people. There are also a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Beds are made up on arrival and bath linen can be rented. Those who book the whole lodge share a communal relaxation area with sauna and steam room, a lovely spot to warm up after a day on the bike or in the woods. On the Kattevennen estate itself you will find brasserie De Krater with its terrace, where guests can drop in without booking for a bite or a drink. Next to the lodge is the De Speelplaneet playground, ideal for families with young children, and the Cosmodrome with its planetarium shows is within walking distance. Beside the house there is also a pump track and a mountain bike course, and a few metres further a dry slope for top athletes. Hoge Kempen National Park starts at the front door. You walk through vast pine forests, cycle past pools and heathland and mountain bike on the purpose-built routes, and anyone who prefers to ride a horse will find an extensive bridle path network. Everything starts from the estate, including the loops on the well-known cycling node network. The location near the Oosterring (exit hospital ZOL) makes the lodge easy to reach from Antwerp, Brussels and Eindhoven.
