Sheela Farm

Sheela Farm is a farm stay on an active agricultural holding in the Rupel region, surrounded by the greenery of the Scheldt Valley National Park. There is no polished facade here, just a place where life follows the rhythm of nature: pigs, cattle, horses, sheep and chickens live on the grounds, and farmer David works with care for both animals and environment. You stay in the original farmhouse 'De Keelhoeve', dating from 1801. The former hayloft has been restored and converted into accommodation for 8 guests across 4 bedrooms. A private entrance leads to the first floor, with four comfortable rooms and a shared living space. Each room has its own toilet, and two of the rooms also have a private bathroom. Every room has two single beds, for 8 sleeping places in total. From the rooms you look out over fields, meadows and the farmyard. The shared living space is fully equipped with WiFi, a smart TV with Chromecast, air conditioning and a coffee machine. Check-in is self-service via a keypad, and parking on site is free. Sheela Farm sits close to several lively cities: Tomorrowland is 2 minutes away, Antwerp 15 minutes, Mechelen 12 minutes, Brussels 20 minutes, Leuven 31 minutes and Ghent 41 minutes. Ideal for anyone who wants to unwind on the farm while keeping the city within easy reach. A distinctive feature of Sheela Farm is the farm itself: a mixed agricultural holding with Hereford and Scottish Highland cattle, sheep, a mobile chicken coop and pigs, all raised with attention to animal welfare. Meeting the animals is only possible by request or during events, such as Lamb Days or Happy Chicken Days, to keep the farm calm for both people and animals. Farm products can also be bought directly on site.
