Hirondelle

Hirondelle is a charming holiday home in a carefully renovated 18th-century farmhouse, in a quiet village 2.5 km from Stavelot, in the High Ardennes. The house measures 320 m² and sleeps families and groups of friends of up to 14 people, children and babies included. The rustic charm of the house, combined with modern comfort, creates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The house has 5 bedrooms upstairs, each with its own bathroom. There are 6 bathrooms in total, one of them with a bath, and 7 toilets. With double beds, single beds and baby cots, everyone has plenty of space and privacy. The fully equipped kitchen has, among other things, an oven, dishwasher, large fridge, freezer and microwave. The two cosy living rooms with TV, DVD player and wood-burning stove make for snug evenings by the fire. The games room has table football, and there is a laundry room with washing machine. Outside you can enjoy the private garden with barbecue and the private terrace, perfect for summer evenings. Parking on the private car park is free, as is wifi throughout the house. For cyclists there is a secure bicycle shed. Pets are welcome. The house has a wonderful view over the surrounding valleys and villages and is only 200 metres from the forest. Walking and cycling trails through the Ardennes forests start literally at your door. Stavelot is one of the most beautiful historic towns in the Belgian Ardennes, known for its annual Blancs-Moussis carnival, its mediaeval abbey and its picturesque centre full of restaurants and terraces. The Spa-Francorchamps circuit, PlopsaCoo, the Spa thermal baths, Malmedy and the High Fens are also nearby.
