Le Pays de Cocagne

Le Pays de Cocagne is a working farmhouse in Koekange, in the south-west of Drenthe, halfway between Meppel and Hoogeveen. Henk and Odile let part of their farm as an apartment: La Maison, 120 m² on the ground floor, with its own entrance and a private terrace looking out over the countryside behind the farm. La Maison has a large living room with a smart TV and a well-equipped kitchen with an induction hob, combination oven, dishwasher, fridge and Nespresso machine. The two large bedrooms have Hästens beds: one double and one twin. The spacious bathroom is yours alone. Bed linen, bath towels and kitchen linen are included. Breakfast is not served, and shops are within walking and cycling distance. In the summer months you can use the swimming pool between 10 am and 5 pm. Horses, ponies, dogs and cats live on the farm. Riders can bring their own horse: there are extra stables, a 40 by 20 metre all-weather arena, a sand paddock and two pastures. Parking on site, also for a trailer or horsebox, a charging point for an electric car and free bikes. Boswachterij Ruinen, the Dwingelderveld, the Reestdal, the Holtingerveld, the Drents-Friese Wold and the Weerribben are close by. Non-smoking, pets by arrangement.
