La Chambre Forte

La Chambre Forte is in Paliseul, in the heart of the southern Ardennes, between the Semois valley, the Lesse valley and the great forest of Saint-Hubert. It is an exceptional natural crossroads with varied landscapes, wild rivers and vast wooded areas. The holiday home welcomes up to 5 people and a baby, in a warm and refined setting. It is set in the village's former bank and combines generous spaces, quality materials and a peaceful atmosphere. The old vault, with its original armoured door, has become a 30 m² games room with a pool table, table football, darts and board games. There are three bedrooms: two with a 160 cm double bed and one with a 90 cm single bed, plus a cot on request. There are two shower rooms. The living room has a wood-burning stove and a TV, there is a cosy dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, and you have wifi, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The stay is "like a hotel": beds made on arrival, bath and house linen provided, no logistics to organise, just enjoy. Dogs are welcome. There is a fenced garden with terrace and barbecue, and a secure room for bikes or a pushchair. Shops, restaurants and superb walking and cycling trails are a stone's throw away. It is an ideal base for exploring Bouillon, Rochehaut, Redu, the Semois, the Lesse and the forest of Saint-Hubert.
