Our spacious family house in Oosterend on Terschelling is a lovely place for a holiday with family or friends. With 178 m² of living space, four bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms, up to eight guests have plenty of space, comfort and privacy. Plenty of space to be together The large living room with open kitchen is the heart of the house. This is where you linger over meals, play a board game or relax with a good book. On cooler days the wood burner adds extra warmth. By the dining area, French doors open onto your private north-facing terrace: a nice spot to sit outside and start the day at an easy pace. Like to cook? The kitchen has a four-zone induction hob, a dishwasher and a combination microwave oven. For coffee you can choose between a Nespresso and a filter coffee maker. Comfort for the whole group Each of the four bedrooms has two single box-spring beds. Three bathrooms with shower, toilet and washbasin, plus two separate rooms with toilet and washbasin, make sure everyone is comfortable. That makes the house especially pleasant for several families, grandparents with grandchildren or a group of friends. Oosterend: peace, nature and a true island feel Oosterend is the easternmost village on Terschelling, one of the Dutch Wadden Islands. Here you enjoy a small-scale village atmosphere, wide open landscapes and the nearby nature reserve De Boschplaat. A great base for anyone who likes walking, cycling and unwinding in nature. From the house you are close to three special sides of the island: The Wadden Sea at about 300 metres: discover a landscape that keeps changing with the tides. The North Sea at about 2 kilometres: a wide sandy beach, salty sea air and long beach walks. The De Boschplaat nature reserve at about 2 kilometres: the space and silence of the eastern part of Terschelling. After sunset, too, the area is something special. De Boschplaat is a Dark Sky Park where, on a clear night, the starry sky is impressive. A holiday at your own pace A relaxed breakfast together, exploring the island by bike or a day at the beach: there is no need for a full schedule here. After a day outdoors you come home to a spacious, cosy house, with all the time you want to cook together, catch up and enjoy each other's company.
