De Driepikkel sits in the heart of the Meetjesland, where Knesselare, Ursel and Aalter meet. You stay surrounded by greenery, yet Eeklo and Aalter are ten minutes away by car, and Ghent or Bruges just under half an hour. The property consists of three houses built in 2021, together covering 260 m². They sleep twelve guests across six bedrooms and five bathrooms. The first house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, the second two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the third one bedroom and one bathroom. A large group can stay together without living on top of one another. Each house has a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, a smart TV, air conditioning and its own fenced terrace. There is a shared sauna, and the Finnish hot tub in the garden is prepared on request. One bedroom with a bath and shower is on the ground floor. The other bedrooms are upstairs and reached by the staircase. Families will find a cot, a high chair and a stair gate. The thousand square metre garden holds a play area with a swing, slide, playhouse and sandpit, along with a barbecue, garden furniture and a petanque court. Parking is on site. Walking and cycling start at the front door. The Drongengoed, one of the largest forest areas in Flanders, is close by, as are the Het Leen provincial estate and the Bulskampveld. The Belgian coast is about an hour away.
