Pure enjoyment! In our holiday home "Charme de Borzée" you get a unique experience in the heart of the Ardennes. Tucked away in an idyllic green valley with beaver dams, surrounded by impressive forests and at the end of a dead-end road, we are in Borzée, a hamlet of the picturesque La Roche-en-Ardenne. This holiday home with character and its traditional stone and wood facade sleeps a maximum of 4 people and a baby (up to 2 years). It is the ideal place for families, couples or friends who really want to get away from it all. Our holiday home is on a small, quiet holiday estate of about 30 houses. Charme de Borzée has plenty of facilities to make your stay as pleasant as possible. On entering you come into the entrance hall, which leads on to the fully equipped kitchen and dining room. The dining room forms one large space with the living room (with wood-burning stove). On the south side a large glass wall opens onto a spacious covered terrace with barbecue, where you can enjoy the view over the valley. On the ground floor are the 2 spacious bedrooms and a large bathroom with walk-in shower. Each floor has its own separate toilet. Everything is here for a holiday in complete comfort. The car park has 8 charging points for electric cars. It is the ideal spot for a relaxing holiday: simply enjoy the peace and quiet. Several walking and mountain biking routes start at the front door, straight into the fresh air. The Ourthe and the Maboge beach (Plage) are within walking distance, and many adventurous outdoor activities (kayaking, rafting, climbing park, ...) are nearby. In winter the cross-country ski tracks of Samrée (4 km) and the ski slope of Baraque de Fraiture (10 km) are close by. La Roche (castle, wildlife park), Achouffe (brewery), Bastogne (War Museum), Saint-Hubert (abbey palace, basilica, wildlife park), Nisramont (reservoir, kayaking), Hotton (caves), Houffalize: all within about 30 minutes' drive at most. After a day of adventure in the forests around La Roche-en-Ardenne, there is nothing nicer than coming home and lighting the wood-burning stove. Enjoy the crackling fire together, a good glass of wine and the stillness around you. Charme de Borzée is the ultimate place to slow down, enjoy nature and make precious memories. Each season paints a brand new backdrop here, so every stay is a unique experience. * Spring: the great awakening When winter gives way, the Ardennes come spectacularly back to life. The forests around Borzée turn fresh green and the valleys fill with wild wood anemones. It is the best season for active explorers. * Summer: the good Ardennes outdoor life Long, lazy summer days call for slowing down.
