Gîte La Semois is in Chiny, a village whose history reaches back to the early Middle Ages, in the most forested region of Belgium on the border of the Ardennes and the Gaume. The gîte is embraced by the Semois and makes the ideal base for anyone who loves to walk along the water or head into the vast forests. The property welcomes large groups, up to twenty-eight people. It has six bedrooms, ranging from doubles to rooms for four, five, six and eight guests, so families and groups of friends stay together under one roof. The heart of the house is the spacious semi-professional kitchen with a professional dishwasher, where cooking for a large group becomes a pleasure rather than a chore. The surroundings are the great asset. The Semois winds through a landscape of forests and hills, with walking and cycling routes in every direction. Orval Abbey is within reach, as are the many villages of the Gaume with their own character. Gîte La Semois is not a luxury stay but a welcoming group inn, where nature and togetherness take centre stage. The perfect spot for a family weekend, a reunion or a stay with friends in the green south of Belgium.
