Welcome to B-SIDE, a comfortable holiday home for up to six guests in a quiet residential street in Loppem, seven kilometres from historic Bruges. By car you are in the centre in ten minutes and at the coast in twenty. If you would rather cycle, the green countryside starts at the door. We opened in July 2026. The house was fully renovated the year before and fitted out with every modern comfort. Downstairs The living room has a sitting area and a dining area, so you can eat together and then sink into the armchairs afterwards. There is a smart TV for your own streaming. There is no cable television. The kitchen is fully equipped with four ceramic hobs, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge with freezer compartment and a washing machine. There is also a hallway with a toilet. Upstairs Three spacious bedrooms. One with a double bed with separate mattresses, blackout curtains and an automatic shutter. A second with a double bed with a single mattress and blackout curtains. And one with two single beds, also with blackout curtains. The bathroom has a shower, a double washbasin and a toilet. There is heating and air conditioning both downstairs and upstairs, so the house stays warm in winter and pleasantly cool in summer. Outside and parking There is room for two to three cars in front of the house. The front garden faces south west and has a picnic bench. At the back is a small garden with a terrace, a table and chairs, the place for a glass of wine or a local beer after a day out. Arriving by bike? You can store it in the locked garage. Mopeds, scooters and motorbikes fit in as well, and you can charge an e-bike battery there. The area Loppem castle is a few minutes' walk away, with its castle park and a large maze. Bruges itself is a historic gem and was European Capital of Culture in 2002. Around Loppem runs an extensive network of cycling and walking routes through the countryside. Fancy the sea? Ostend is twenty three kilometres away, Blankenberge twenty one and Knokke twenty nine, each a twenty to thirty minute drive. Culture, countryside and beach combine here without any effort in a single stay.
