A cosy wooden chalet on the banks of the Semois, in the heart of the forested Ardennes around Bohan-sur-Semois. Le Printemps is a quiet holiday park with 6 chalets, all offering direct views of the river. Ardea is named after the grey heron which you regularly see fishing along the Semois. Comfortable space for four people: a furnished living room with dining area and sitting area, a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, combination oven, fridge, toaster and coffee maker, and a separate bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. The sunny terrace with garden furniture and parasol looks out over the Semois and the hill opposite. On the park there's a café-brasserie where you can enjoy a local beer or a simple meal in the evening, and there's a play area for the children. WiFi and central heating make Ardea suitable for a stay in the low season or winter as well. Bohan-sur-Semois is a base for the Belgian Ardennes at its finest. Canoeing on the Semois with descent from Vresse-sur-Semois, walks through vast forests, mountain bike routes across the Ardennes plateau. Half an hour's drive away you'll find Bouillon with its medieval castle, or you can cross the border to Sedan in France. Ideal for those looking for nature, peace and child-friendly comfort.
