Youth centre Schotte is a type C youth hostel with 55 beds, set among greenery within walking distance of the city of Aalst. Right around us, on the same site, you'll find a high-ropes course, a trampoline park, kayaking on the river Dender, wall climbing, laser tag, stand-up paddling, raft building, archery tag and much more. Walk or play in one of the two nature reserves next to our youth centre. The city of Aalst itself also offers plenty to do, from guided walks and free museums to pottery and ceramics workshops. Right next to JVC Schotte is the modern Schotte sports complex, with a wide range of indoor and outdoor sports halls, fitness and athletics facilities. Facilities: - 4 dormitories with an average of 12 people each - 1 separate room for group leaders with 2 beds - 1 separate room for group leaders with 4 beds and private bathroom - Fully equipped self-catering kitchen with cookware and dishwasher - Full board catering available - Spacious dining hall and 3 day rooms - Enclosed terrace - Fully wheelchair accessible (lift in the building) - Suitable for youth and language camps, sports courses, outdoor school trips, weekends, care holidays, schools, and more - Close to the city centre, next to the city park and the Gerstjens, and on the same site as the ultramodern Schotte sports complex Getting there: - Close to Erembodegem train station (750m) and Aalst station (2.5km) - Bus stop right outside - Ample bicycle parking - Large free parking area next to the building

De volgende zaken zijn ter strengste verboden in het jeugdverblijf: 💨 Rookmachines (probeer het niet, het brandalarm zal afgaan) 🍟 Friteuses (op het terras geen probleem, mits bescherming van de vloer) 🚭 Roken 🎶 (Versterkte) muziek of overdreven geluid buiten het gebouw na 22u (ook niet op het terras). Meer afspraken vind je in ons huisreglement, dat je ontvangt bij aankomst.
