HiKE, BiKE & TWiKE is a self-catering group lodge for up to 30 guests, set in the gatehouse wing of a rural square farmstead in Ezemaal, in the gently rolling orchard country of Haspengouw (Hesbaye). It is built for groups who head out together: families spanning several generations, friends, sports and walking clubs, associations or youth groups. The heart of the stay is the vaulted pillared hall "de Sale van Hisemaele", with a comfortable seating corner and a fitted kitchen where you cook for the whole group yourselves. At the back lies a large hedged garden with a bluestone sunken seating pit, great for a barbecue or a long table outdoors. An outdoor staircase leads to the sleeping floor, with a large and a small dormitory, both with bunk beds (bring your own sleeping bag). Four sanitary rooms with shower and toilet are arranged around a large wash basin. Inside there is wifi, heating, an open fire, blackout curtains and a projector with screen for a film night or a presentation. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. For the little ones there is a high chair, a play meadow and outdoor games. An adapted toilet, wide access and a single-level layout make the place usable for guests with reduced mobility too. Haspengouw is cycling and walking country. From the farm you ride straight onto the node network, among orchards that blossom in spring. Landen is a stone's throw away, with shops, a train station and roads towards Leuven, Sint-Truiden and Tienen. Because the farm is lived in, one clear rule applies: no electronically amplified music. In the large front garden and indoors you can enjoy yourselves to the full. The inner courtyard is private.

You may however use the outdoor staircase to the sleeping floor with its sanitary rooms, and the LEGO toilet under the stairs (for guests with reduced mobility).
