Leieboordje

Leieboordje is a small terraced house in a quiet spot on the river Leie, in the green part of town, close to the Grote Markt and plenty of small restaurants and shops. From the back garden you look out over the beautiful Dutch fortifications, built on Vauban's walls. At the front, the roof terrace looks out over the little harbour of Halluin in France. You can rent boats in the street, and there is a swimming pool, the 'Badhuis'. In summer the town also organises water activities. Private parking space next to the house, plus plenty of free parking in the street. The moment you walk in, you feel on holiday. A compact house with lots of natural light and a lovely view at both the front and the back. Downstairs there is a kitchen, a dining area and a living room with a smart TV and Chromecast, and stairs up to the terrace, partly open and partly covered. On the first floor: a bathroom, a room with a bunk bed and a room with a bunk bed that has a double bed below and a single bed above. On the top floor: another room with a double bed, a roof terrace and a superb view of the Leie. Not suitable for anyone who cannot manage steep stairs.
